Pepperell RTC Cookout and Social Gathering with Minority Leader Brad Jones

On Tuesday July 12th the Pepperell Republican Town Committee will be hosting a cookout/social gathering at 4 Mount Lebanon St. from 6-8 p.m.  Minority Leader Brad Jones will be our special guest for the evening  and will be speaking about recent events on Beacon Hill.  We have also invited RTC members from surrounding towns,  so come meet with like-minded fiscal conservatives in a casual atmosphere to talk politics, network, and come up with new ideas to help our town and state.  We encourage everyone to stop by and say hello.  Please RSVP if there’s a chance you will attend, as we are trying to get a rough count for the amount of food and drinks we will need. And, if you know anyone else who might be interested, please feel free to invite them.

Pepperell looking for election workers

The town is looking for a few more people interested in working as election officials. Republicans are slightly under represented among our current group of poll workers so it would be nice if we could find one or two who would be willing to serve in this way.

Serving as an election official generally means working a long day at the polls on election day once or twice a year. The positions are paid at 6.75/hour and its a good chance to see a lot of your friends and neighbors from town. If anyone is interested or knows someone who is interested they should contact the Town Clerk’s office at 978-433-0339.

So if we were not taxed enough…..

Here is an article, that to be honest, I had to read several times.

It seems we have a Bureau of the Public Debt (which is insane to start with) that accepts donations to help reduce the national debt.

Instead of giving money to our government, we should give it to charities. We should also demand that our government reduce our debt by reducing our government.
